About the Health Science Scholars Boot Camp
The UW Health Sciences Scholar Boot Camp provides motivated underrepresented minority UW Pre-Health & Science students the opportunity to kick-off their college experience with a summer College Boot Camp 2 weeks before the start of school! Program activities occur from 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Participation in the Boot Camp is FREE except for the cost of optional housing.
Students are provided:
- A UW Bookstore Gift Card or Textbook after completing the program.
- An opportunity to learn the academic resources available on campus and meet department representatives.
- The ability to move into their dorm room early. For 2024, there is a $25 application fee and $782 additional room/dining charge.
- An opportunity to meet other incoming freshmen and establish a sense of community at the UW before school begins

- Boot camp is for Pre-Health & Science students who are underrepresented minorities.
