GEAR UP currently serves approximately 8,000 students in 33 schools in 27 school districts throughout Washington State. Schools participate using either a cohort or priority model.
The cohort model serves an entire grade (~7,000 students). The program will follow the students in this grade until high school graduation in 2017. We currently offer services to these 20 cohort model schools:

The priority model serves only GEAR UP eligible students (~1,000 students – grades 7-12). We currently offer services to 12 priority model schools:
