The Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity mourns the loss of staff member Deanna Wullabbs. A counselor advisor with Educational Talent Search since 2002, Wullabbs, passed away on May 5, 2011, in Yakima, Wash., at the age of 40. She was a strong advocate of her children’s education and a supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A 1989 graduate of Toppenish High School, Wullabbs earned her associate’s degree from Yakima Valley College, and her bachelor and master’s degrees in education from Heritage College. Wullabbs is survived by her husband Sati; three children Nadia, Ayden and Arrianna; her parents, sister, and niece.
