OMA&D Counseling Services

The programs of the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity Counseling Services are dedicated to supporting academic excellence and undergraduate student achievement at UW. Program staff offer one-on-one advising and assistance to UW students, particularly students from low-income families, students who will be the first in their family to graduate from a four-year college, and/or underrepresented minority students.

Diversity Scholars Program

Reach Out and Reconnect (ROAR) Re-entry Program

  • Services for UW students who are not currently enrolled and would like to return
  • Assistance developing a plan for return based on individual needs assessment

TRiO Student Support Services

  • Services for 300 low-income, first-generation, and/or disabled students yearly at the UW
