Strengthening population health partnerships in China
The University of Washington engages with partners and projects in 129 countries around the world. This engagement include partnerships with China CDC and the Center for Health Statistics & Information (CHSI), both a result of the work of the UW’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.
President Ana Mari Cauce visited with the leadership team of China CDC and the CHSI earlier today as part of her trip to Beijing. The discussion during both visits focused on ways to build on the partnerships between the UW and these health agencies for the benefit of practitioners, policymakers and people in the United States, China and around the world.
