Pop health how-tos
In 2021, the initiative partnered with Piranha Partners, a division of Cascade Public Media, to develop and air 30-second “Pop Health Moment” spots. These spots realized nearly three million household views in markets covering much of the West Coast of the United States.
Each “Pop Health Moment” is animated and takes a problem-solution focus to support individuals in formulating responses to pressing population health challenges.
These spots drew from faculty expertise in the UW’s College of Arts & Sciences, College of Education, College of the Environment, Information School, School of Medicine and School of Public Health.
