New research shows heat-related mortality risk is widespread in Washington state

According to a new University of Washington study, heat-related deaths are becoming an ever-so-prevalent issue across Washington state. An average 8% increase in heat-related deaths has occurred in the past decades, a statistic that will only continue to grow in the coming years.
