Compliance Case Studies: Financial Conflict of Interest, Export Controls and Research Integrity

This intermediate case-study based course provides background and context for research compliance operations at the University of Washington. We will present a framework and resources for research administrators who are expected to understand policies and requirements in research integrity, financial conflicts of interest, and export controls

The cases presented assume prior knowledge of concepts related to FCOI, export controls, and research integrity, the basics of which will not be covered in class. Before coming to class review the following resources:
