Delayed Onset Human Research (DOHR)

This determination is granted by HSD (when requested by a research sponsor) to research that does not yet have definite plans for human subjects research. It allows the grant funds for the research to be released and used (for non-human subjects purposes) without Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. It is not a substitute for IRB approval.
