Does OSP handle any service contracts?

OSP typically does not handle service contracts with a few exceptions:

• Intergovernmental Personnel Agreements (IPAs) and Joint Personnel Agreements (JPAs), provide employees on site at another governmental entity and the UW is reimbursed for the salary and associated expenses related to that assignment.
• Clinical service contracts with the VA.
• Fabrication of equipment for the federal government.
• When instruction, organized research, or other sponsored activity programs have some practical aspect of services included.
