Are there tips for reporting inventions to NASA?

NASA accounts

  • NASA requests accounts to be updated every 6 months
  • Login via Agency User ID
  • If you forget your password, email Guest Services. The “Forgot password” only works for NASA employees

Completing NASA’s form:

  • Fields in red are required
  • Technology title should be short
  • Any attachments need to be added via additional documentation.
  • Time window for reporting and deliverables is in your contract
  • Once an innovation is submitted it is sent to all listed inventors who have 10 days to review
  • Be aware of using special characters. If required for your technology you may need to copy into NotePad and then paste into the form
