Single IRB

This refers to a situation in which a single Institutional Review Board (IRB) is providing the review and oversight (i.e., is the IRB of record) for some or all of the performance sites in a collaborative or multi-site study. Beginning in September 2017, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) requires all domestic sites for a multi-site clinical trial to use a single IRB.
