Research Inquiries

HSD receives and manages hundreds of research inquiries each year which may come from current or potential study participants, researchers, the general public, other UW staff or offices, and non-UW institutions. Research inquiries are defined as: Questions, complaints, or concerns about UW research from a potential, past, or current research subject, and/or concerns about the conduct of UW research from a research staff member or any other concerned person or organization.

It is HSD policy that HSD, UW, IRBs, and investigators must promptly respond to research inquiries.
