The UW IRB provides its staff with tools for conducting the initial assessment of an application. This is called the pre-review process and the tools are listed below.

We have posted these tools publicly because we think they could be useful to other IRBs and could be adapted for use at other institutions. If you do adapt these tools, we ask that you would acknowledge the UW IRB as their inspiration.
