Select Agent Program Training for UW
This classroom course trains participants on biosafety, security, information security and incident response pertaining to the UW Select Agent Program. This training meets the federal select agent regulation requirements.
Who is required to take this training?
Training is required for all UW faculty and staff who have potential to have unescorted access to the select agents.
Summary of the requirement
Federal regulations require registration of facilities that possess biological agents and toxins that have the potential to pose a severe threat to public health and safety including government agencies.

Prerequisites
- Approval from the Responsible Official/Alternate Responsible Official (RO/ARO)
