Non-Financial Compliance Basics (1031)

This online introductory course provides an overview of the major non-financial compliance areas that impact research. We will explore key features, University activities impacted, related policies, regulations and/or procedures. We will also discuss considerations a Research Administrator needs to be aware of, and where to find answers to questions a Primary Investigator may ask. Each topical module of the course includes a summary of University and other resources (website, training, contacts) specific to that compliance area.

Compliance areas covered in the course include Financial Conflicts of Interest (FCOI), Other Conflicts of Interest, Research Integrity, Human Subjects, Animal Use, Environmental Health & Safety, and Export Controls.
