Mission

The mission of the Center for Performance Studies is to encourage the interdisciplinary study of performance and performance culture, as it exists in a variety of forms, genres
and disciplines, through inter-departmental collaboration and sharing of curriculum, faculty, students and resources across the graduate programs in the arts and humanities at the University of Washington.  The Center was connceived as a sort of Commons, available to and shared by many distinct disciplines and departments.
