Center for Sustainable Forestry at Pack Forest
Mission
The mission of the Center for Sustainable Forestry at Pack Forest is to actively advance the concept and practice of sustainability and to engage students, scientists, professionals, policy makers, and community members through research, demonstration, service, and continuing education and outreach in natural resources and environmental science and management. The Center seeks to identify the boundaries of sustainable forest ecosystems that include extraction of forest products, while maintaining ecosystem integrity.
