Mission

The Program on Ethics (previously known as the Program on Values in Society) is a center for interdisciplinary research, service, and teaching about applied ethics.  We seek to increase the integration of ethical thinking into public discussions, both within the university context and in the broader community.

Core Services Offered

Graduate certificate in ethics; undergraduate minor in ethics; courses in medical ethics, environmental ethics, social justice, neuroethics, human rights, and other areas of ethical thought; public lectures and conferences on the ethical dimensions of issues of contemporary concern.
