Mission

The Surgical Outcomes Research Center (SORCE) assesses the impact of surgical procedures on patients, society, and the healthcare system and improves the practice of surgery through education, training, and policy initiatives.

Core Services Offered

SORCE collaborates with interested investigators functioning as a “one-stop shop” with expertise in:

• Health services and patient-oriented outcomes research design
• Grant application and budget development
• Health services study development and project management
• Data management and statistical support
• Quality Improvement initiative design and delivery
• Community-wide research collaborative building
