Whether you’re working on a New Year’s resolution or just want to enhance your Husky experience, the tools you need are at your fingertips.

Applications are open for the next Husky 100! This annual recognition honors 100 exceptional students who are using what they learn in the classroom to make a difference on campus and in their communities. All UW juniors, seniors and graduate students are encouraged to apply! Applications close Jan. 21.

Lucy Kim and Lucy Cotter at the Henry

Visit the Henry Jan. 23 for an in-gallery conversation between exhibiting artist Lucy Kim and Lucy Cotter, author of Reclaiming Artistic Research. Surrounded by Kim’s large-scale sculptural prints made from lab-grown melanin, this discussion will explore art practice as a form of research. The speakers will delve into how this approach shapes Kim’s process and work while envisioning new possibilities for deeper collaborations between the arts and sciences.

Join the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies for our annual meet-and-greet dedicated to networking with UW faculty and students interested in Labor Studies! Registration is now open for the event on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the HUB, Room 250.

Winter On-Campus Job Fair

Looking for an on-campus student job? The Career & Internship Center and the HUB are co-hosting the Winter On-Campus Job Fair on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 1 – 4 p.m. on the HUB 1st Floor Main Street. Various campus departments will be promoting their open student jobs, sharing about positions they may be hiring for in the future and answering questions about working for their unit. Come join us!

The Body Project is a free, evidence-based program designed to increase body satisfaction in 4 weeks. In small groups, you’ll confront, discuss, and fight against appearance ideals pushed by society and social media.
