Hello Huskies,
As we settle into winter quarter, I hope you are finding classes, people and activities that engage and excite you. I know the darkness and the gray, rainy days can make this time of year difficult, and I want to remind you that the UW has people and resources committed to supporting your health, well-being and academic experience.
Your support team includes:
- Counseling Center: Same-day and crisis support, drop-in help through Let’s Talk, group and individual counseling options, pet therapy and more.
- Husky Health: Support for your physical health, including same-day appointments, primary care, reproductive care and gender-affirming care.
- Academic Support Programs: In-person and online resources such as CLUE tutoring, study strategies, exam reviews and success coaching.
- LiveWell: Health promotion and advocacy services to empower you with the skills you need to make informed decisions about your well-being.
Please remember that you don’t need to wait until you’re experiencing challenges to seek support. Proactively taking care of your mental and physical well-being is a great way to build resilience and can help you handle life’s speed bumps as they come up.
Take good care of yourself, and each other.
Sincerely,
Denzil
