Costco Scholarship Fund – 2019-20 Gratitude Report
For 20 years, Costco has been a pillar of access and opportunity for students, families and communities across Washington. By breaking down barriers to a transformative education for high-achieving students of underrepresented backgrounds and identities, Costco empowers them to reach higher, go farther, and achieve extraordinary impact locally, nationally and indeed around the world. The Costco Diversity Scholarship is a testament to the academic and personal triumphs and potential of these exceptional students, and is an unparalleled and unequivocal recognition of each one’s achievements, ambitions and ability to affect positive change.
The 2019-20 Gratitude Report highlights the 107 students who, thanks to the support of the Costco Scholarship Fund, were able to embark on their University of Washington journey in the fall of 2019 to become the next generation of leaders, innovators, healers, organizers and change-makers, bringing a diversity of perspectives and approaches to our world’s most pressing and complex challenges.
