Hi Huskies,
As we wrap up an academic year like no other and look forward to a return to campus for autumn quarter, I want to acknowledge the milestone that is upon us.
During a year that often felt marked by turmoil, unpredictability, sacrifice, and anxiety, I and my colleagues in the Division of Student Life have been impressed and inspired by the grit and grace with which Huskies navigated profound ups and downs.
In our final Pawket Guide message of this academic year, I want to thank you all for your resilience and for the kindness and compassion you’ve shown one another throughout this time like no other. Wishing you all a strong finish to the quarter, and a fulfilling summer ahead.

1. Health and Safety
Students have shown strong interest and action with regard to getting vaccinated and our community continues to make progress against COVID-19.
- Restrictions continue to ease for those who are vaccinated. If you’re not already, see how you can get vaccinated.
- If you’re in Seattle, a good option could be the UW Medicine Montlake location, which is administering the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines.
- Make an appointment: Visit uwmedicine.org/schedulevaccine or call (844) 520-8700; or
- Walk in without an appointment: 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays.
As we quickly approach the end of the quarter, many are undoubtedly feeling the effects of virtual learning – here are some ways to identify and mitigate Zoom fatigue factors.
