Fireside Exchange Chats
Want to go on an exchange but you don’t know where to start?
Join us for our Fireside Exchange Chats! Each Friday in January, we will discuss topics we are often asked about the exchange experience, and you will get an opportunity to ask questions.
2025 Exchange Chats Series
Occurs on Zoom every Friday from 12pm-1pm starting January 10th. They will cover the following topics:
- January 10 – What is a visa? (general info, may need to travel, docs you may need)
- January 17 – Academic expectations and classes abroad (how many credits to enroll in, how does credit conversion work?, DRS accommodations, what to expect with classes abroad, how exchanges can benefit your professional future)
- January 24 – Living Abroad and adapting to a new country (housing, transportation, safety and health, culture shock)
- January 31 – Q&A and last minute questions before our January 31st deadline (come ask any remaining questions you may have!)
- Late February (dates TBD) – “I’ve been accepted, now what?”
