• February 2005
  • UW Calendar version 2.2 is now available. This release contains a number of bugfixes, as well as some preliminary work on synchronization and portlets. Thanks to Xavier Lawrence and Jahia for a large portion of the synchronization/portlet work.

  • UW Calendar version 2.1 is now available.

• August 2004
  • UW Calendar version 2.0 is now available. This release contains a major reworking of the code to use Struts and (for the personal and public display applications) XML and XSLT to allow for much easier customization.

• January 2004
  • UW Calendar version 1.3 is now available. This release upgrades to a more modern Java database access method, and includes expanded export functionality. Quickstart 1.3 requires Java 1.4.

• September 2003
  • UW Calendar version 1.2.1 is now available. This is a bugfix release to fix some minor SQL bugs.

  • A Contributer's License agreement is now available. Authors of significant contributions to the project should have a signed version of this agreement on file at the University of Washington. See the Legal Notices for more information.
  • UW Calendar version 1.2 is now available. This release allows users to subscribe to public calendars, and contains an embryonic CAP server.
• February 2003
  • UW Calendar version 1.1 is now available. This release includes an improved public events display system.
• August 2002
  • UW Calendar version 1.0.1 is now available. This is a bugfix release to solve some problems with the mysql database.
  • A requirements document is now available. Comment on the requirements, suggest a feature/requirement we left out, or vote for the features you think are most important to implement.
• July 2002
  • UW Calendar version 1.0 is now available. This version includes a personal calendar, a public events entry application, and a public events display application.
• June 2002
  • The UW Calendar bug and enhancement database is now up and running. Report bugs, request future enhancements, and vote for the bugs and enhancements you think most need attention.
  • Slides from the UW Calendar talk given at the June 2002 JA-SIG conference are now available.
  • You can now download a quickstart release of the calendar. This allows you to try out the calendar web application without compiling the source code, installing a database, or any number of other possibly difficult tasks. See the download page for more details.
• May 2002
  • A System Architecture diagram is now available.
