Preparedness as a Family Affair

UW Emergency Management staff passed out preparedness information, story books for early readers, coloring/activity books, stickers, and more at the UW Childcare Resource Fair on November 4th. We hope these materials will help parents talk to their age-appropriate children about disaster preparedness in a positive way! Experienced, brand new, and up-and-coming parents alike came to hear Amy Hawkins, director of Worklife and Childcare Development at the UW, share the latest updates as the University works to expand its childcare offerings.
