Summertime Cleaning Comes to the EOC

As part of our ongoing continuous improvement process, UWEM utilizes a modified “5-S Methodology“ system (Systematic, Sort, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure that our workspace in the UW Tower is as clean and efficient as possible.  UWEM annually goes through our offices, EOC and storage room to identify, remove, surplus and consolidate supplies and materials that accumulated over the past 12-months.  On July 1st, the entire team spent the day doing just that.  Over 200 lbs. of materials were removed and sent to UW Surplus allowing us to be more efficient and maximizing our space,  What a way to celebrate the start of the new fiscal year!
