UW Emergency Management works to increase the safety and resilience of UW’s students, staff, faculty and visitors. Through all aspects of the disaster cycle – preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation – UWEM coordinates across units and locations to ensure the safety and resiliency of the University of Washington’s communities in the event of disaster.
UWEM creates and supports a safe and prepared environment for UW’s campus communities where faculty, staff, and students thrive through preparedness and effective response to emergencies.
