UWFA annual business meeting April 11, 1:30pm UW Club

Plan to attend the Annual Business Meeting on Monday, April 11, at 1:30pm at the UW Club.  We will be voting for the 2016 – 2017 UWFA Board and a quorum of our members is needed.  Please come and bring a friend.

At this point the position of Vice President is open.  Please consider joining the board.  We meet once a month.  The UWFA depends on our members to volunteer to help in the leadership if we are to survive as an organization.  Email me at nancykenagy@gmail.com and I will send the Vice President’s job description.

Our meeting will not be all business.  Our speakers Antoinette Wills and John Bolcer are the authors of a comprehensive history of the University of Washington.  They have some surprising historical stories to tell from the UW’s century and a half of existence.  You can read more about the program in the March 2016 newsletter.  Read your pink copy, or go to our website www.washington.edu/uwfa/ and click on “news and blogs” and you’ll find the current as well as past newsletters.

Later this month you’ll be receiving a registration form for this year’s spring luncheon, Wednesday, May 25, at the Seattle Yacht Club.  Mark your calendar and look forward to the luncheon featuring David B. Williams speaking on “Reshaping Seattle’s Landscape”.
