Congratulations to our 2019 initiates!

On June 12, 2019 we celebrated the initiation of University of Washington undergraduates into the Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. The initiation ceremony began under the Gerberding Hall bell tower in Red Square, followed by a procession to Kane Hall, where the new initiates were formally granted membership. After an initiation address by Professor Thaïsa Way on history and landscape architecture, the chapter’s Executive Board hosted a reception for the initiates, their family members, and guests.
