The Economic Growth on the Backs of Global Workers: Mapping Local Strategies for Global Change Conference addressed root causes and consequences of human trafficking and facilitated a solution-based discussion focused on forced labor, trade & business, and global health. The program highlighted discussion on responsible trade agreements that deter forced labor and migration, business practices to support ethically sourced goods & services, tools to identify victims in healthcare settings, and citizen/student interventions.

Anti-Human Trafficking Conference 2013
The Human Trafficking in an Era of Globalization: Forced Labor, Involuntary Servitude and Corporate & Civic Responsibility Conference was a 2-day international conference that examines root causes of the human trafficking industry and develops strategies to prevent and minimize the trade. Program highlights included panels on Forced Migration & Labor Rights, International Trade Agreements, Human Rights, Public Health, How to Improve Survivor Services, Ethical Sourcing & Sustainable Development, and Humanizing the Impacts of Human Trafficking.

Anti-Human Trafficking Professional Development Program 2012
The Human Trafficking, Forced Labor and Corporate Responsibility Continuing Legal Education Program provided legal and business professional with a better understanding of human trafficking and current efforts to combat the rampant trade of human beings. Panels reviewed federal and state legal framework regarding human trafficking, the prosecution of trafficking cases, multi-agency and victim service provider collaboration, regulatory and compliance risks for business, corporate social responsibility and best practices, and ethical issues for legal professionals raised by human trafficking.

Anti-Human Trafficking Conference 2002
The Globalization, Justice and the Trafficking of Women and Children Conference brought activists and academics from all over the world to share knowledge on the human rights tragedy and global epidemic of women and children being trafficked.

Anti-Human Trafficking Conference 2001
The Trafficking of Women and Children: Challenges and Solutions Conference was the first-ever anti-human trafficking conference in the state where the issues around human trafficking within Washington state were brought forth, including the recognition of bride trafficking. This conference served as a catalyst for Washington becoming the first state in the country to criminalize human trafficking.
