The Requirements for University and Third Party Youth Programs and Research (APS 10.13) establishes important safeguards for youth as they engage with University led research, activities, events and youth programs. Every unit (college, school, office, or campus) is responsible for monitoring compliance with these requirements. For more information about requirements for youth activities and research studies, refer to the Requirements of Youth Activity Leaders and the Requirements for Researchers.
Each unit is expected to achieve a minimum of 80% overall compliance of research and youth program sessions. Compliance is evaluated biannually in April and October by the Youth Protection Coordinator, and published in Youth Activity Compliance Reports sent to each unit head.
