(A competition jointly sponsored by the College and Tools for Transformation)
This project will develop a new team-oriented course in computer applications of economic-geographic principles. This course will introduce students to commercially available software and will lead them through three-week exercises. Each exercise will entail a review of the key concepts, data development, software exploration, written results, and oral presentation. Part of the oral presentation and interaction will entail criticism of the relationships between concepts and proxy data, and between theoretical relationships and the technical analysis.
