New SAGE Budget Subawards Job Aids & Training
The following information was sent via email to the SAGE users and MRAM email lists on August 5, 2024.
The Office of Research Information Services (ORIS) has been collaborating with campus and central office stakeholders to develop SAGE Budget subaward reference materials to streamline your work.
New Subaward Budget Job Aids
- How to Set Up Subaward Worksheets on the SAGE Proposal Budget: This step-by-step guide provides grant managers and research administrations best practices for subaward budget entry.
- How to Set Up Subaward Worksheets on the SAGE Award Budget: This guide explains best practices for budget entry, guidance on what data integrates into Workday, and the differences between proposal and award budgets.
- Working with Subaward Worksheets and University of Washington Facilities & Administrative Rates on the SAGE Award Budget: This job aid guides subaward budget preparers through the accurate calculation of indirect costs, or UW F&A, on Subaward Worksheets.
SAGE Office Hours
SAGE Office Hours are offered weekly and staffed by SAGE experts. No registration is necessary. Drop in to ask any SAGE-related questions, such as:
- How do I manage tricky F&A calculations?
- How can I get my award budget to match the Notice of Award to the penny?
- What are best practices when setting up a subaward budget?
- Which Modification Request type should I choose?
