NIH Loan Repayment Programs – Information & Guidance on Getting Started
NIH will help repay student loan debt to encourage outstanding health professionals in the pursuit of biomedical or biobehavioral research careers. Loan repayment benefits are in addition to the institutional salary received for research. The LRP online application is open this year from 9/01/2024-11/21/2024.
To meet NIH’s deadline, OSP must have these applications by 11/15/2024. Follow UW guidance on getting started.
